How many days does the training take place?
Our training modules are designed for either 1 or 2 days. Some specially designed training may require more than 2 days. You may discuss with our representative to select a suitable training duration for your organization.
How many people can attend the training session?
For effective in-house training we recommend 25-30 participants only. However, in some training such as Forklift Safety and Basic First Aid, the number is 15-20 because a considerable amount of time will be spent on practical. Each participant will be assessed on the practical skills in addition on their understanding on the subject matter.
Do you conduct training during weekends?
Some of our clients find it difficult to allocate training during week days due to busy schedule. We have been flexible in our training arrangement and depending on trainer’s availability, we will do our best to fulfil client’s request to conduct training during weekends.
Do you conduct training and provide consultation to companies outside Johor?
Our clients are mainly based in the southern and central regions but we have been providing our services to the east coast and northern regions as well. We do not regard location as a concern for us to deliver our training and services. The present day communication and extensive network of transportation mode have enabled us to deliver our training and services promptly .In year 2010 we will be expanding to Sabah, Sarawak and the ASEAN countries.
Do you conduct public training?
Our public training programs are very limited. Please check our website for announcement on public training programs.
Do you have competent personnel to perform the occupational and environmental monitoring services?
All of our personnel have received proper certification from DOSH and DOE for monitoring and assessment services. Examples of such certification are competent person for noise monitoring and assessor from DOSH. We will ensure our competent personnel have valid certificates during the execution of monitoring and assessment work.
What kind of occupational and environmental services do you provide?
Almost all of the regulations stated in the Occupational Safety and Health Act (1994), Factory and Machinery Act (1967) and Environmental Quality Act (1974) that stipulate training, monitoring and assessment will be included in our services. Examples are mineral dust monitoring, chemical exposure monitoring, chemical health risk assessment, noise exposure monitoring, boundary noise monitoring and local exhaust ventilation inspection.
Do you use reliable equipment in your monitoring work?
All of our equipment are approved by the relevant authorities and calibrated in accordance with the international or NIOSH test methods. Calibration certificate will be included in the final report of the monitoring work.
Do you issue service report after each monitoring or assessment job?
Upon completion of each monitoring or assessment job, a report will be issued within 3-4 weeks depending on laboratory results and availability of information (such as chemical safety data sheets). You will be given a copy of the report and we will also submit a copy to the relevant authorities on your behalf.
